Understanding your Discipline Score

Updated Jul 8, 20264 min read

The Discipline Score is a single number from 0 to 100 that summarizes how disciplined your trading has been over the selected period. It needs trades in the window to compute; with none it simply reads “Not enough data”.

Score labels

  • Strong — 85 and above
  • Solid — 70 to 84
  • Fragile — 55 to 69
  • Critical — below 55

The pillars

The score is a weighted blend of these components:

  • Review coverage— share of trades you’ve completed a review for.
  • Followed plan — share of trades where you marked that you followed your plan.
  • Execution quality — your average execution rating.
  • Mistake control — share of reviewed trades free of discipline mistakes.
  • Journal consistency — share of your trading days that also have a Daily Journal entry.
  • Rule adherence — how often your trades respect your active Playbook rules (only when you have active rules with evaluations).

How it’s weighted

Before you use the Playbook, the score is weighted: Review coverage 30%, Followed plan 25%, Execution quality 20%, Mistake control 15%, Journal consistency 10%.

Once you have active Playbook rules with evaluations, Rule adherence joins at 25% and the other five are scaled down to fill the remaining 75%. The lowest pillar is flagged as your weakest area.

Where you'll see it

The Discipline Score appears on the Dashboard, in the Analytics Discipline tab, on the Playbook page and in the Weekly Review. There is no plan restriction on the score itself.
